Services: : The Domestic Violence Unit is comprised of three designated prosecutors who prosecute misdemeanor partner or family member assaults (PFMA), sexual assaults, stalking, privacy in communications, no contact order (NCO) violations, and other related cases in Billings Municipal Court and three Victim Witness Specialists who provide direct services to victims of those violent crimes.

Services: MLSA is a private, non-profit law firm that provides free legal help to low-income people facing civil legal problems such as divorce, domestic violence, or matters of housing, taxes, debt, public benefits, parenting plans, etc. They provide legal assistance for crime victims on Orders of Protection, Parenting Plans, consumer issues and forms, advice, and wrap-around services. Services: The Victim Witness Coordinators’ mission is to alleviate the trauma and devastating effects of crime on the lives of victims, witnesses, and their families, while vigorously protecting their rights. Victim coordinators guide victims and witnesses through the court process, help victims request restitution, provide crisis intervention, make referrals to counseling and community services, and much more.

Services: YWCA Billings offers emergency services at no cost to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking.
