Promoting safe homes and strong communities
Billings Area Family Violence Task Force
Working together to end family violence in Billings and beyond.
At the Billings Area Family Violence Task Force, we are a dedicated group of concerned citizens and professionals who share a common mission: to reduce family violence and create a safer, more nurturing environment for all residents of Billings and its neighboring communities. Established in May 1990, our journey began as a response to a tragic event that shook our community to its core. The McGuire Memorial Conference on Family Violence was a catalyst for change, inspiring us to come together and take action.

Our mission is clear – to coordinate community resources and educate service providers and the general public to reduce family violence. We believe in fostering a safe and nurturing environment for all.
We are dedicated to serving individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly, who have experienced physical, sexual, or psychological injury within their homes or relationships. Our commitment extends to anyone affected by family violence.
As a source of community education and coordination, we work hand-in-hand with existing programs to aid victims and reduce family violence. Our collaborative efforts empower survivors and promote lasting change.
